ok here is 122,000 km of driving expeience with the fiat 500 speaking. there are 3 warnings on the fiat 500 for low fuel. 1st. low fuel light. this means you have about 100 kms left. happens when tank goes below a quarter. 2. low fuel beep. this is the tank going below 1/8th. about 50 kms or so left.
Jul 22, 2010. #1. Started the car up this evening. Had the key twisted but had not yet cranked it, and I had a yellow triangle with exclamation mark in it, with a warning message saying 'fuel cut off unavailable'. I then cranked it up and the message went but the triangle didn't. Turned off the engine and back on but the message didn't reappear.
If you buy one, fit it and the airbag lights go out then it will be worth getting a proxy alignment done. The issue could also be one of the pre-tensioners as they are low enough to get water damage if the water was a couple of inches high. You need a proper diagnostic using MES to ascertain what could be the problem.

Uneven amounts of air and airflow patterns can lead to idle issues, and hesitation during acceleration. Use carburetor cleaner and a shop rag to remove buildup from the throttle bore and plate. Also, check the throttle linkage for binding. The throttle cable connects the accelerator pedal to the throttle plate.
I'm a relatively new driver and bought a 2nd hand Fiat 500 Pop in September. It's 2011 model, 1.2 and had relatively low mileage 21k. It's been driving well but tonight when I started the engine, a warning came on to say fuel cut off unavailable, start stop unavailable.
Hi guys just bought a damaged fiat 500!! The fuel cut off has klicked in.. Had a good look around and i cant see a reset switch so im guessing its built into the airbag modual?? is there any way of getting it running so i can move it around untill i get a new modual? cheers Dale
